2010 was a good year for consumer technology, Introducing everything from advanced smartphones cheap e-readers to bold new set-top box. And let's not forget the rise of the tablet with the introduction of the Apple iPad. But I really can not appreciate the highs without a worry in the crash, right? Some of the best funded and most-publicized tech launches of the year 2010 ended in failure. Many large technology companies that have had a significant share of the market and product advantages in large industries lost the advantage. Here are the top five biggest flops in 2010. />
Google Buzz & Wave - Google's foray into social networking / micro blogging sphere backfired when people found themselves connected with ex-lover and old colleagues, due to an "auto follow "algorithm. Gmail users are not too keen on having their most contact list that aired in public, and the Buzz fiasco eventually went to the settlement of the class action. Google Wave was introduced as an alternative to e-mail, instant messaging, and file-sharing site, and best of all in one place.
